Welcome to Spring from My Shell!

This is a warm, welcoming place to share our struggles and successes with mental health. This website aims to destigmatize mental illness by discussing it openly without shame. We don’t have to hide who we are here and can express ourselves with our authentic voice.

At Spring from My Shell, we promote personal growth and self-reflection. The season of spring symbolizes new beginnings, which we all deserve. This is a safe space to clear our mental clutter so we can shine our inner lights and live our best lives.

Mental illness often makes us hide in our shells. It’s ok to retreat inward for introspection or recharging, especially if we’re introverted. (We love introverts here. Our founder is one of them!) But there comes a time when we must spring from our shells to share our stories, perspectives, and gifts with the world.

Our blog presents mental health topics in ways that are never heavy and even fun! It has two sections:

A safe space to share our experiences with mental illness and the healthy coping strategies we have learned.

A fun and creative place to make sense of mental health through our favorite movies, TV shows, music, books, etc.

Spring from My Shell is not affiliated with licensed therapists or mental health organizations. There are valuable resources for professional help at the bottom of this page.
